Thousand Oaks, CA - February 10, 2005 TECOM Industries, Inc., a Smiths Interconnect company, today announced the appointment of Raju Chandra as vice president of marketing and sales, reporting directly to President Ralph L. Philips. Raju will be responsible for capturing new business opportunities as TECOM expands their antenna product lines worldwide in the aerospace, military, SATCOM and wireless communication markets.

Prior to joining TECOM, Raju was a marketing executive at EDO Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems, responsible for marketing and sales of ELINT/ESM Systems to prime contractors, government agencies and international customers. In addition to EDO, his 20+ years of antenna design and business development experience includes tenures at Lockheed Martin, L-3 Communications and Condor Systems. This experience is complimented with a stint at a wireless start-up focused on commercial wireless smart antenna technologies.

Raju holds a BESS and a MSEE from the University of Illinois.
