TECOM Industries, Inc., a Smiths Interconnect company, today announced that TECOM has delivered its first two hatch-mounted high gain INMARSAT antenna (T-4220) assemblies for use on the C-130 U.S. Army Secure Enroute Communications Package - Improved (SECOMP-I) program. The TECOM antenna is the first phased array antenna delivered for C-130 Hatch Mount applications. This all-electronic antenna has significant reliability advantages over traditional antenna types. The T-4220 Aero-H antenna consists of a High Gain Antenna (HGA) Assembly, Beam Steering Unit (BSU), and Diplexer/Low Noise Amplifier (DP/LNA).
