Oaks, CA—November 10, 2003, TECOM
Industries, Inc., a TRAK Communications
company, today announced it has been chosen
to provide a hatch-mounted high gain INMARSAT
antenna (T-4220) assembly for use on the
C-130 SECOMP-I program.
The T-4220 Aero-H antenna consists of
a High Gain Antenna (HGA) Assembly, Beam
Steering Unit (BSU), and Diplexer/Low
Noise Amplifier (DP/LNA). The antenna
array assembly is a repackaging of the
previously designed T-4000 HGA and the
IGA-2000 intermediate gain antennas. It
provides excellent gain and low angle
coverage in a much smaller form factor
than traditional Aero-H phased array antennas.

and no moving parts in a form factor small
enough to be mounted on the hatch of a
