TECOM has a broad catalog of wideband antennas ranging from 20Hz to 40GHz. These antennas include directional antennas such as log periodic and horn antennas, which are used in multiple applications including broadband surveillance, tracking and jamming. They can be used as standalone antennas or as reflector feeds in one of TECOM’s range of parabolic antenna systems. Also in TECOM’s vast array of products are omni directional antennas, such as conical spirals for broadband surveillance, slant linear bicones—typically used in shipboard DF applications—UHF/VHF stackable omnis for air to ground communications and airborne instrumentation antennas. TECOM Industries offers a variety of flush mounted, blade and microstrip antennas that maximize performance and minimize physical size. These antennas can be used for instrumentation, flight termination, datalink and telemetry applications for both aircraft and missile platforms. Standard antennas support hemispherical and spherical pattern coverage and are available to operate in both normal and extreme thermal environments. Thousands of these antennas have been used to support both domestic and international customers. TECOM can design antennas to meet the specific needs of new programs, deliver proven off-the-shelf products or provide build-to-print capability. Over its long history, TECOM has developed or produced hundreds of single and multi-band antennas for missile applications. These have included TECOM's own designs as well as the designs of others.The company's core capability in the use of materials, and experience in the manufacture of missile and space antennas, have won roles in key programs with Raytheon, the US Navy, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin.



TECOM offers a complete line of Inmarsat-certified antennas that meet and exceed the Aero-L, Aero-I and Aero-H service specifications. Generally used on larger commercial, military and business aircraft, TECOM’s T-4000 antenna system is a high gain electronically steerable phased array antenna that supports Inmarsat Aero-H, Aero-H+ and Swift 64 satellite communication services. Its top mount design provides excellent hemispherical coverage and conforms to ARINC 741 requirements.

TECOM Aero-H antennas have been selected for use on the C-130 (using TECOM’s new T-4220 hatch mounted version) and the C-17 aircraft for the Secure Enroute Communications Package – Improved (SECOMP-I) Program—thus providing US Special Operations Command with satellite interconnectivity for key missions. TECOM’s Aero-I – qualified antenna system, the IGA-2000, is designed to meet the needs of short and medium-haul aircraft with an integrated assembly including the LNA/Diplexer and antenna. This integrated design provides for a low cost installation, eliminates the need of using internal cabin space, and provides better noise-figure performance by keeping components close together. More than 500 IGA-2000 antenna systems have been sold. They are provided exclusively through Rockwell Collins for use with their SAT-2000 SATCOM system. The T-4100 is compliant with all Aero-L requirements, is competitively priced and can also be used as a GPS antenna for airborne applications.

Since 1989, TECOM has delivered over 250,000 antennas into the commercial GPS market. TECOM offers a line of GPS antennas for applications in commercial, military and space environments. Applications range from commercial GPS hand-held units to sophisticated GPS timing systems.




US government facilities, international and commercial customers have deployed hundreds of TECOM fixed and mobile positioning systems for many diverse applications, including range telemetry, flight termination, both airborne and ground segment data link, target tracking and jamming, signal intelligence and direction finding. TECOM’s positioning systems support sizes from man-portable up to 7-meter installations. Customers can select positioning/control systems only, or turn-key solutions using off-the-shelf TECOM reflector and feed assemblies that range from 0.5 – 40 GHz. The new TECOM Antenna Control Unit (ACU), which can be rack-mounted or installed within some TECOM positioners, provides ample processing power and choices for connection with remote computers.

Creating turn-key solutions for rugged environments is a TECOM core capability, as demonstrated by TECOM's selection to provide the ground data terminal for the Shadow™ 200 Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, which brought new front-line visibility to tactical command centers in operation Iraqi Freedom.
